How you will contribute:
- Delivery of frontend and mobile product functionality on our Core Product connecting patients to clinicians
- Lead a culture change initiative breaking down a monolith react codebase into micro frontends
- Build beautiful experiences using progressive technologies and patterns such as state management, component libraries, micro frontends
- Lead discussions in the design of frontend software architecture and development of new functionality
- Provide strong leadership, ownership, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Mentor and oversee software engineers across the technology department to nurture a culture of ownership, learning, automation, re-use, and engineering efficiency through the use of of software design patterns and industry best practices
- Contribute to the delivery of OKRs, work with the product team and fellow principal engineers to define KPIs and meet SLAs

Skills you’ll bring:
- Experience being the most senior engineer across the technology department to deliver consumer or business facing features in a remote first, fast-paced, startup environment
- Deep knowledge in the React, React-Native ecosystems in advanced topics
- Experience with building and rolling out a component library using NativeBase and Storybook or other similar technologies
- You write high-quality, well-tested code and design interfaces that strike the right balance between simplicity and flexibility
- Creating psychological safety: demonstrated ways of allowing your team to learn, fail, and experiment while balancing major impacts to the business.
- Best in class testing practices to improve the quality of our applications by ensuring complete test automation across the testing pyramid
- Effectively communicate between teams and within teams in order to drive alignment and increase effectiveness on delivery
About You:
- Mission driven leader, with deep hands on leadership and experience in making a dent in the universe
- Prioritization of team goals vs. giving team members psychological safety to learn and grow by deciding on high impact, low-level decisions quickly, balanced with being patient/strategic about with high-level ones
- Demonstrate strong technical architecture and platform engineering skills and ability to switch between technology paradigms
- Adept at prioritizing value and shipping complex products while coordinating across multiple teams
- You love teaching other engineers and can be an effective mentor for both junior and senior teammates
