Principal Product Manager, Director of Life Sciences Product

What we are building

The Director of Life Sciences Product will define and drive the Life Sciences product offerings at Domino. This new role will work closely with the vertical lead for life sciences at Domino, translating the vertical strategy to define product offerings and roadmap to address challenges and opportunities faced by pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and research institutions with a focus on today and the future.

What your impact will be

  • You will work as part of our Pharma team to synthesize, codify, and articulate our pharma product strategy with respect to the market opportunities we’re pursuing, the segments and use cases we’re pursuing, and our differentiation. Based on that strategy, build a product roadmap that leverages Domino’s strengths and differentiation 
  • Work with engineering and design to deliver on that roadmap. Deliver several major marketable features that make Domino more differentiated and appealing to pharma buyers/users
  • Support product marketing in delivering updated collateral that describes our product and features effectively to pharma buyers/users
  • Articulate a 3-year roadmap for Domino as a pharma solution
  • Continuously evolve our roadmap based on signal from the market. Keep a finger on the pulse of the market by engaging with customers, driving a Pharma CAB, attending industry events, monitoring what competitors are doing

What we look for in this role

  • 5+ years product management building and shipping enterprise software within the life sciences vertical, including identifying market trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships
  • Strong market awareness and ability to analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to tailor our offerings effectively
  • Ability to envision the product capabilities future of AI and scientific computing in the life sciences sector, and to lead teams in translating the vision of the life science vertical lead into actionable roadmap and products
  • Familiarity with use cases in the life sciences industry, ensuring that AI solutions meet necessary ethical and legal standards. (including deeper knowledge of R&D and broad knowledge of commercial and manufacturing)
  • Proficient understanding of machine learning, data analysis, and AI techniques with the ability to apply these skills to life sciences datasets and problems

Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our benefits can be found here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, cost of labor, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. 

Compensation Range

$224,000—$302,000 USD
