About the Role

HealthSherpa is looking for a Principal Product Manager with a "do everything it takes" mindset to own supply-side Monetization efforts of our insurance marketplace. You will lead a development team in delivering, iterating on, and packaging new products for Carriers that monetizes our marketplace. This role is an individual contributor role and will not have managerial responsibilities. You will report to the VP of Product and Engineering.

The base salary range is $230,000 - $280,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related experience. You Will:

  • Work with leaders at insurance carriers, the CEO, SVP Sales, VP Growth, and Account Management team to understand pain points and needs and turn them into insights and groundbreaking new products
  • Lead the process of developing new products to meet the pressing needs of Carriers that can be monetized
  • Establish a holistic vision for marketplace monetization and work directly with a development team in defining and achieving that vision
  • Understand the HealthSherpa Marketplace, its strengths, shortcomings, vulnerabilities, and dynamics, and use this to create products with product-market fit
  • Package, pitch, communicate, explain, and sell the products developed, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and AMs
  • Help develop pricing and positioning strategy for existing Products or upcoming releases in close collaboration with company leadership
  • Grow adoption of existing marketplace products and services
  • Wear the hats necessary to deliver successful products

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in 0->1 product bootstrapping and rapid, customer-focused iteration
  • Experience with precise documentation and communication that allows you to craft and deliver a story of your products to many different audiences
  • Excellent product management skillsets, making sure we work on the right products iteratively and incrementally
