As a Principal Product Manager at Skilljar Inc., you will have a vital role in shaping our product roadmap and strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to effectively launch products, ensuring an exceptional user experience. What You'll Do:
- Lead the product management efforts for our flagship product, collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing teams to determine product vision and strategy.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities for product differentiation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
- Drive the flawless execution of product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional user experience.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, collecting and analyzing data to make data-driven decisions and optimize product performance.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather customer feedback and identify areas for product improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our product offerings.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or any field with equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the SaaS industry.
Skilljar Base Pay Philosophy:
At Skilljar, we strive for salary range transparency in our hiring process. This is a major step towards not only complying with state and local regulations where required, but also to make sure Skilljar is putting pay equity and DEIB top of mind during the hiring process. Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a bonus based on company performance, and a new hire equity grant in the form of stock options. Below are the base salary ranges for this role:
Seattle, New York City, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, and Austin metro areas, base salary range: $188,500 - $225,000
Other Remote US (outside of SF Bay Area), base salary range: $174,000 - $210,000
