The Principal Product Manager, Labor will be responsible for the R365 Scheduling and Labor suite of products from ideation to go-to-market and will work with and through and mentor other Product Managers to drive our labor and scheduling strategy.

How you'll add value:

  • Own the vision of all Labor areas of the product, including: Time & Attendance; Labor Planning; Forecasting; Scheduling; and Labor Reporting
  • Drive, develop and maintain the R365 Labor & Scheduling roadmap with other Labor Product Managers
  • Select, design, and write user stories for the Scrum Team responsible for Scheduling & Forecasting
  • Evaluate and prioritize features, bugs and program debt
  • Conduct customer interviews
  • Collaborate with other teams to plan, design, and deliver products that bring value to our users
  • Present new product features at internal and external broadcasts
  • Receive constructive feedback with grace, using it to iterate and improve

  • Work with other teams to ensure scheduling is used to its fullest capability
  • Craft and realize a wholistic vision for R365 Scheduling & Labor
  • Work with the Go to Market (GTM) team to strategize on how this product will be rolled out to both prospects and internal customers
  • Mentor PMs through the 6 pillars of product management success at R365 (Communication; Relationships; Evangelism; Strategic Thinking; Delighting Customers; and Learning)
  • Be a thought-leader in the Restaurant Labor space and educate other R365 departments on all things labor
  • Build pricing/packaging models for your product as well as determine how your product fits together with other products based on industry and internal data
  • Work closely with Labor PMs on Labor Engine needs
  • Work closely with Inventory/Brands PMs to ensure any synergies are recognized and acted upon
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in a scheduling product role and 6+ years in a product role
  • A solid demonstrated understanding of restaurant labor problems and how to solve them
  • Knowledge of labor laws, including Over Time; Minor Rules; Tip Allocation Rules; Etc.
  • A basic understanding of data flow from/to Point of Sale and to/from a Payroll System
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work successfully with cross functional stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in the restaurant industry
  • Used a scheduling solution to schedule employees
  • A knowledge of mobile scheduling apps and how users' interface with them

  • This position has a salary range of up to $180K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
