In this role as a Principal Product Manager on the Monetization team you will focus on delivering products and capabilities for Checkr’s monetization areas: We define monetization as the ability to sell a product to customers, bill them for its use, and accurately record and report the financial transaction associated with the sale. You will set the strategy for developing monetization features, managing bundling, and will be responsible for driving Checkr’s revenue & margin growth. You will define and execute the strategy for each of these respective areas. Leveraging your deep experience, you will inspire your cross functional group to meet company objectives and bring new products and features to market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead teams to work on Monetization focused initiatives such as Pricing, Subscriptions, Promotions, Bundling, Billing, Invoicing & Payments.
  • Expand our commerce platform, which will store catalog prices and costs, perform bill computation, support discounts, promos and credits, generate invoices, and reconcile and store financial data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing, packaging, subscription and other components of your monetization strategy. 
  • Explore the best ways to approach prioritization, conversion flow, and optimization testing around your monetization model. Validate your hypothesis, drive organizational buy-in, test with live customers, and manage the full rollout.
  • Partner with external customers, sales, customer support, RevOps and Finance.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years as a PM, with 5+ years experience in SaaS Monetization, Billing, Pricing & Payment
  • An ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
  • Experience working on products at a global scale, and understanding the data, legal, and technical nuances of supporting complex products
  • Strong technical background to enable you to contribute meaningful features 
  • Excellent commercial skills and attention to detail. You have an instinct for good product & business needs and an understanding of metrics best practices
  • Proven track record leading a hands-on, high performance environment

The salary range for this role is $168,955 - $351,670.
