We're looking for an experienced UI/FE Software Engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of the group, you'll be responsible for:
- In charge of creating the user interface for the new product from the ground up.
- Architect, develop, and maintain a UI using ReactJS.
- Work with UX teams to translate design into reusable and accessible components using our existing design system.
- Coordinate with the backend team for building RESTful APIs.
- Participate in front-end code reviews to provide qualified feedback to other team members and promote good development practices.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 10+ years of IT experience specializing in frontend development, with knowledge of JavaScript and React.
- Proficient in core web fundamentals such as HTML and CSS, emphasizing semantic markup, and performance optimization.
- Experience with creating complex dashboards featuring advanced visualizations, graphs, and charts, demonstrating strong capabilities in both development and design.
- Experienced in developing enterprise or B2B applications, integrating REST APIs, and employing industry-standard practices in version control, defect tracking, and build systems.
- Knowledgeable in UI/UX design principles and best practices
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in Tailwind CSS and Next.js.
- Experience with developing enterprise and B2B applications, with proficiency in integrating REST APIs and employing version control, defect tracking, and build systems to ensure robust application performance and maintenance.
- Experience with Networking or Cloud Security products, enhancing the security aspect of software solutions.
- Knowledgeable in General AI technologies, contributing to intelligent solutions within software applications.
- Proficient in UI/UX design principles and best practices, focusing on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for enhanced user engagement and satisfaction.
- Experience with the use of core web development technologies and methodologies to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software products.
This role has a preference to sit in our San Jose, CA office (hybrid environment) but the team is also open to remote options.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$175,000—$250,000 USD
