Full Job Description

The GT Reporting, Data and Analytics team sits within Finance and Business Management and is responsible for providing actionable reporting and analytics across all technology domains - including those that are technical (e.g., cloud, APIs, development toolchain), those that speak to our people (diversity, training, recruiting) and everything in-between including financials, cybersecurity, infrastructure and our regulatory landscape. The GT Executive Management Reporting (GT EMR) forms the basis of how GT is managed as a business and is leveraged by our Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and the Operating Committee (OC). The Product Associate on the GT EMR team will have responsibilities as follows:

  • With direction from product manager can apply foundational product and customer knowledge of product features to help the team drive allocation of highest value requirements for delivery
  • Ensures business and user needs are articulated as clearly as possible.
  • Supports creation of detailed user stories for the agile development lifecycle
  • Can apply basic knowledge of the features they support
  • Works closely with product manager to understand project scope and priorities
  • Works with team members to document and groom product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment
  • Identifies and resolves missing requirements
  • May coordinate with scrum team to prioritize scope, objectives and constraints for development sprints
  • Assists the grooming of backlog and maintenance of overall backlog health
  • Supports tasks needed by development team, application teams and business stakeholders
  • Participates in Scrum Agile events and other agile activities
  • Assists the team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
  • Assists in QA and development of tests and ongoing testing activities, clarifying acceptance criteria and use cases as needed to meet team goals.
  • Ability to learn and develop comfort with Agile backlog management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Share-point
  • Knowledge of Tableau is a plus

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in agile product delivery and/or business development including experience with enterprise business requirements
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively interact with cross-functional teams both internally and externally to achieve specific business results.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective and prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Customer focused with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Bachelor's degree required.
