As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts. With offices located in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Limassol, and London, we are currently undergoing significant expansion and are looking for a Product Designer to join our team. This role can be in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, or London, it can also be remote anywhere in Europe.
This role is about:
The Product Designer (Checkout Experience) role is responsible for the end-to-end experience of our checkout experiences, e.g. Our Hosted Payment Page, transaction recovery flows, open banking experience, plugins and our Mobile and Web SDKs.
You need to identify opportunities through understanding the needs of our users and our merchants and design solutions will help improve the conversion rates of our checkout experiences.
You will work closely with product management, domain-experts and engineers to understand the underlying technology that powers these tools and ensure they are implemented in a user-friendly way.
You will:
- Work with product managers and key stakeholders to understand the current capabilities of our checkout experiences.
- Initiate and conduct research, such as interviews, competitive analysis and various usability testing methods, to gather insights and feedback on your designs.
- Analyze and synthesize your research findings, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that illustrate your design solutions. Test and iterate on your designs, based on user feedback and data.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with domain-expert stakeholders, such as product managers, legal experts, and compliance officers, to ensure your designs are feasible, compliant, and aligned with the business goals.
- To work closely with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility and successful implementation of your design solutions.
- Present your design decisions, using evidence and rationale from your research and analysis.
- Build strong relationships with the people who can help you understand the complexity and overcome the difficulties in this domain.
- Contribute to the greater mission of the company by delivering our internal tools that are easier to use and have a positive impact on the businesses.
- Contribute to the design team by bringing your expertise and being part of the teamβs sessions, offering feedback on the collective work.
What we need:
- At least 3 years of experience designing consumer-facing products, preferably focusing on CRO in the fintech or e-commerce domains.
- A strong portfolio of design projects that demonstrate your skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iterating.
- A solid understanding of design principles, best practices, and tools, such as Figma.
- Technical expertise in maintaining and contributing towards Design Systems.
- Advanced English.
