Product Designer II
About This Role
Fandom is growing! Our Product Designer is a remote opportunity based in the UK in support of our Fanatical site. You will report to our Senior Director of Product Design. You Will...
- Play a role in the design and execution of new products and user experiences.
- Always develop a deeper empathy for our users. In partnership with our user research team, gain and apply user insights to new concepts and in-development designs. Ensure that design decisions are rooted in a clear understanding of user needs and motivations.
- Collaborate with product management, marketing, and business teams to define the product & UX strategy. Participate in projects from concept to production, ensuring user and team goals are represented.
- Lead the end-to-end product design process. Guide the design of features from concept through production. Handle the review process, both within the design team and with partner teams, to provide a solution that meets the needs of the user and the business.
- Collaborate with engineering to manage the designs through implementation and launch to market.
You Have...
- 2+ years of experience in product design, visual design, or related related field
- Knowledge of applying a user-centered approach to designing software, services, or responsive websites or applications
- Familiarity with the latest design tools and design systems (Figma, Zeplin, Jira)
- Competent collaboration skills and can productively work with other designers, product managers, user researchers, and engineers and members from marketing and other partners
- Experience validating concepts through research, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and user testing
- Work on design challenges at a detailed, pixel level and at a broad conceptual one
- Understand at the high-level about product strategy, recognising how your work impacts it
- A portfolio of design work showcasing your approach and design skills
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
