Overview

The Product Development Senior Manager is a new position responsible for the digital customer product strategy for new and emerging capabilities within the cornerstone myCigna digital experience. This role will have accountability for seamlessly integrating new capabilities into the customer experience within the health plan as it relates to our web and mobile app.

This role will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams in support of creating a best-in-class digital experience for our customers across the mobile app and web.

Duties and Responsibilities

Define the end-to-end experience for various capabilities identified for inclusion within digital customer-facing assets, for both our commercial and government customers

Collaborate with other teams within digital and across the enterprise to ensure delivery and prioritization of the right feature set that supports the customer in their end-to-end journey while also driving business value

Is a student of the industry and other like and dissimilar industries, driving a high level of innovative thinking and product development mindset

Builds necessary internal alignment and drives collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders both within and external to the digital team

Navigates an environment of often complex stakeholder management, ensuring that we are sharing out and learning about business priorities

Partner with leadership to ensure proper prioritization and execution of work

Drive the usage of data and analytics to seek out opportunities to improve the digital experience and deliver strategic business value

Serve as a role model for peers and other Product Managers across digital by embracing a product mindset and make data-driven prioritization decisions

Lead other product owners and managers, both directly and indirectly

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or military experience required

Minimum 7 years’ product management experience

Experience in healthcare, health services, employer-based insurance is a plus

Track record of defining and interpreting analytic data to drive decision making and health outcomes

Demonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both short-term and long-term decision-making

Combination of analytical, technical, and business acumen

Proven track record of exceeding goals; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment

Able to navigate and thrive in a highly matrixed environment

Blend creativity, relentless problem-solving, business acumen, and leadership to drive innovation

Effective leadership, prioritization, and management of complex program / portfolio in a dynamic environment

Fact-based problem solver with the ability to evaluate alternative courses of action and make sound decisions

Experience with technology initiatives with a high degree of complexity

Able to manage multiple, shifting priorities

Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Strong written and verbal communication skills

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 122,300 - 203,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
