Notable is the leading intelligent automation company for healthcare. Customers use Notable to drive patient acquisition, retention, and reimbursement, scaling growth without hiring more staff. We don’t just make software.

We are on a mission to fix the broken U.S. healthcare system by helping to eliminate the massive administrative burden that is placed on our nation’s healthcare staff. We hire people from diverse backgrounds and are always looking for employees who bring fresh ideas to our space. Passion is paramount, and at Notable, you will get to work with other talented people who aim to set a new standard for innovation in healthcare.

Role Summary:

Notable’s Product Integrations Leads sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and implementation at Notable. They direct engineering teams in building reusable connections and automations between our customers’ systems and Notable’s platform. The Integrations team drives key pieces of implementations and seek optimizations that push on the ever-improving scalability of our integrations (e.g. improving existing automations, scaling use of APIs, enhancements that reduce system load, etc.).

Our Product Integrations Leads are drivers in the work they perform - they are:

  • Independent, yet leverage their network and peers knowledge
  • Deliver what they own with urgency
  • Find the answers when they don’t otherwise exist
  • Scrutinizing details and risks; questioning assumptions

As a Product Integrations Lead, you will oversee and commit to product requirements for the customer, coordinate delivery dates and prioritization with your peers, ensure testing of your deployments validates the desired outcomes, seek out improvements for our systems, and drive customer adoption of new integrations, features, and enhancements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with our partners to understand requirements and materialize workflow designs and specifications, according to best practices and standards.
  • Analyze and monitor platform performance to identify opportunities for scaling improvements to the system.
  • Coordinate with peers to understand priorities and delivery dates, working with Engineering Managers to determine resource availability and commit to timelines.
  • Work with Engineering Managers on quarterly planning, grooming your backlog, and prioritizing new build, enhancements, and system optimizations.
  • Work with Engineering Managers to complete sprint planning and make necessary strategic trade-off decisions that ensure timely completion of our commitments.
  • Be responsible for rigorous testing with peers, to guarantee performance standards are met upon production deployment.
  • Be accountable with Engineering Managers for your engineering team’s productivity, such as repeat work, work time:wait time ratio, and defect rate.
  • Collaborate with the product and design teams on new platform enhancements, product roadmap, and in owning best practices for new integrations work.
  • Assist peers in triaging and troubleshooting system and customer issues related to Integrations, and prioritizing bug-fixes or improvements from these issues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in healthcare roles like technical solution lead, integration architect/engineer, engineering management, or product management.
  1. Nice-to-haves include experience with healthcare EDI systems like HL7 v2 or experience with FHIR APIs.
  • Have demonstrated project, organizational, and time management skills, and an ability to mentor rising talent on personal accountability in these areas.
  • Are a strong communicator and able to express ideas, tasks, timelines, and escalations clearly, whether that be to peers, customers, or executives.
  • Have technical knowledge and an attention to detail that enables you to scope things independently before getting an engineer’s opinion.
  • Have high intellectual horsepower and apply rigorous, analytical, and systems thinking to the work you complete.
  • Have an open to growth mindset or are naturally curious, are driven to make a difference through your work, and are able to overcome and thrive in ambiguity and dynamic environments.
  • Are capable of balancing outside-the-box thinking with product/platform thinking.
  • Enjoy highly collaborative environments and cultivating a teamwork mentality, where people pull together when there’s chaos and confusion to solve problems.
  • Are able to see around corners to predict challenges and make decisions that proactively head-off obstacles and escalations.
  • Are able to balance multiple priorities and multi-thread conversations to get fully integrated E2E solutions running.
