We’re tackling a key challenge for all Internet businesses today: navigating the changing landscape of tax. In the last few years, software businesses have gone from not having to worry about sales tax, to needing to monitor their exposure, calculate local sales tax rates, and file returns in over 20 US states and many countries worldwide.

So much of our economy today and tomorrow exists online. The industry has grown 6x over the last 10 years and software development productivity is only positioned to accelerate. Companies should be able to transact with customers everywhere. Anrok is building the tools behind the scenes that make compliant digital commerce a reality for companies big and small.

Anrok connects with a customer’s billing and payment systems and automates sales tax compliance. We have raised over $24M from Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures who co-led both our seed and A rounds. For those that call the Bay Area home, we work 3 days a week from our Embarcadero office, and work from home 2 days a week.

As the PM for Anrok’s enterprise product, you will own the development roadmap of the core application for our most valuable customers. You will work closely with customers both to refine the existing onboarding experience, as well as develop zero-to-one products. You’ll have the autonomy to work cross functionally and be the trusted partner to a dedicated engineering team.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the core product and oversee our efforts to push upmarket.
  • Craft greenfield product features with the latest technologies.
  • Shape the product function at Anrok.
  • Be the bridge between engineering, design, and customer facing teams.
  • Network and build relationships with our enterprise persona to truly understand user needs.
  • Do whatever it takes to make your product launch and team successful. The buck stops with you.

What excites us:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • You take the time to fully understand the customer and problem space, and are able to translate the learnings into solid action plans.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have shipped several zero-to-one products.
  • You are technical enough to understand how engineering architectures can shape product solutions.
  • Experience with integrations or complex finance related products is a plus.
  • You have clear and concise verbal and written communication.

What we offer:

  • The equity upside of an early-stage startup with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.
  • Sun and tree filled Anrok office and onsite meals in San Francisco.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100%.
  • One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits and more.
  • Generous PTO and parental leave.
  • Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, and conferences, as well as a curious team to share your learnings with.
  • Bi-annual team offsites and optional quarterly gatherings at the SF HQ office.
  • All the latest gadgets you need to thrive at work.
