In a sector riddled with inefficiency and outdated practices, management of seized assets has been left in the past, unable to keep up with an evolving digital landscape.
Asset Reality is building the future industry standard, a toolkit for public and private sector clients to effectively Seize, Manage and Liquidate seized assets.
We’re looking for our first Product Manager hire to join us in this journey. Your role will be as a ‘Product Generalist’ working directly with the SVP of Product in both a strategic and tactical capacity.
What you’ll do
- Deliver products that reflect our ambitious goal of becoming the industry standard seized asset platform.
- Manage the product roadmap, prioritising impactful projects based on diverse inputs.
- Conduct in-depth research and customer interaction to deeply understand and define problems, framing them for the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and researchers to envision and create innovative solutions.
- Scope solutions efficiently for early customer delivery.
- Continually assess the effectiveness of products through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Ensure the quality of the product areas your team is responsible for, delivering customer value in every release.
- Lead and inspire a team of skilled developers and designers.
Who you are
- At least 3 years of experience in product management with a track record of delivering impactful products.
- Experience in leading and guiding teams, both technical and non-technical.
- Strong background in design, with the ability to make informed product design decisions and create user-friendly interfaces.
- Effective communication skills for clear product decision explanations and persuasive decision-making.
- Experience working with both qualitative customer insights and quantitative data.
- A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
- Previous experience in the public sector is a bonus but not essential.
- A degree in Computer Science, Product Design or Business, or a related field - but this shouldn’t be a barrier to applying if you have relevant practical experience.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is beneficial but not mandatory - a focus on prioritisation and delivery over process.
- London based or surrounding locations, otherwise based in the UK or Ireland, with ability to travel to London for workshops and collaboration 1-2 times per month.
