Product Manager

Hyperproof is hiring a Product Manager with a passion for solving complex user scenarios with intuitive digital experiences to help us build a world-class compliance software platform for current and future clients. 

You will work closely with our product, sales, customer success, and engineering teams to create product roadmaps, new features, and product enhancements that our customers & partners will love, and that are defined well enough that our engineering team can build them.

This role reports to the VP of Product who values weekly 1:1 communication, and on-demand coaching, and will give you the autonomy to create your own success.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO

  • You’ll work with customers, partners, and business teams to identify requirements, unmet user needs, and new opportunities.
  • You’ll own vision, road mapping, requirements, and prioritization within your field of responsibility
  • You’ll create designs and feature specifications that deliver on Hyperproof’s promise of simple intuitive solutions to complex compliance scenarios.
  • You’ll work with development teams to turn specifications into work items, cost and prioritize those work items, and drive the team sprints. 
  • You’ll present and evangelize our features and capabilities to both internal and external audiences, including customer demos.
  • You’ll inspire the team towards greater customer focus, higher standards, and the highest levels of quality.
  • You’ll use and document the product yourself - walk in the customer’s shoes to deeply understand their experience.
  • You’ll continuously act as the champion of our users and customers to ensure their needs are always a top priority!

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 2+ years experience in a product or program management role, preferably on a SaaS product team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to build alignment and clarity across both technical and non-technical audiences, including internal teams and customers/partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including a bias toward action in the fact of ambiguous requirements
  • Curiosity - someone who delves deep into the details to understand the root cause of problems, unexpected user behavior, etc.
  • Team player - people around you do better work because of your enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to help out

LOCATION

We are a fully remote company! Rather than restrict ourselves to only finding talent in one city, we’d rather find the absolute best people regardless of where they live. 

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

  • We value your time and want you to know what to expect from us. For this interview, we expect to ask you to participate in 30 mins initial chat with the Senior Technical Talent Partner, after it you will get to work on one-page document related to a shared scenario, than three 45 minutes of 1:1 chats with Product team members, and a final 45 mins discussion with our VP of Product.

The full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications.
