Over the last ten years, SaaS has changed the way we work — for the better. Slack instead of email. Miro instead of sticky notes. Airtable instead of Excel. SaaS is helping tech companies move so much faster, but it’s also introducing a new surface are of risk they’ve never seen before. The risk of leaking sensitive data. As a result, companies are faced with answering the difficult question of how to manage compounding security risks as they grow without introducing more red tape that slows their team down.
At Metomic, we help companies protect sensitive data in SaaS applications like Slack, Google Drive and Zendesk.
Our technology connects to SaaS applications, detects the most critical sensitive data risks, and put automated policies in place to ensure these risks don’t happen again in the future. This liberates tech companies to make full use of their favourite SaaS apps whilst Metomic takes care of all the security risks behind the scenes.
After launching our product in April 2021, we now count some of the world’s most innovative companies as customers, such as Zego, Octopus Energy and Crypto.com. In 2023 we raised a $20m Series A round led by Evolution Equity and backed by other investors such Connect (investors in CityMapper, Typeform, Marvel), LocalGlobe (Improbable, Figma, Zego) and RFC (Hopin, Clubhouse, On Deck, etc), and Resonance.vc.
About the role:
You’ll be a Product Manager within the Growth team at Metomic, on the frontline of our mission to redefine data privacy and security within the SaaS industry. You’ll be working alongside our exceptional cross-functional team, made up of product, engineering and design, as well as working across the business with sales, customer success and marketing.
As part of the Growth team, you’ll be owning our integration roadmap, expansion and strategy. You’ll need to work closely with sales, to be at the forefront of the market, so that you can shape the product that will drive Metomic forwards.
What will you do
- Work directly with the Growth team, leading and driving the product roadmap. Build a high-performing team, by setting ambitious goals and regularly achieving them
- Drive revenue growth and customer acquisition through product initiatives
- Become the subject matter expert in your product area, prioritising initiatives that you know will have the biggest impact for customers
- Use data and research to uncover existing problems and inform product decisions
- Dive into the weeds → You’ll be working hands-on with designers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams
- Stay ahead of the curve → You’ll ensure we’re prepared for scaling both the product and the team. You’ll keep a finger on the pulse of the team's needs and work with the Head of Product on hiring initiative
Requirements
- Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Product Manager in the software industry, preferably with experience in data privacy or working with integrations
- You have experience building b2b SaaS products
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze user insights and translate them into actionable product plans
- You’ve got proven experience in building & managing cross-functional teams and leading product development from concept to launch
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate product ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and results-oriented approach
