Product Manager
The Role
The Tech Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of both the products. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, roadmap development, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure the product meets user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company’s goals and market needs.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Facilitate clear communication and understanding of product goals and requirements across all teams.
Product Development:
- Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage the product backlog and oversee the sprint planning and agile development processes.
- Monitor the development progress and address any issues or roadblocks to keep the project on track.
User Experience and Feedback:
- Analyze user data and feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
- Continuously iterate on the product to enhance user experience and drive user engagement.
Product Launch and Go-to-Market:
- Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
- Ensure successful adoption and growth of the product in the market.
- Track product performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of the launch and ongoing product health.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of technology and software development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific tech domain (e.g., SaaS, mobile apps, AI, IoT) relevant to the company’s product portfolio.
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products.
- Familiarity with UX design principles and best practices.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate market needs into product opportunities.
