About The Job:
As a Product Manager at OnRamp, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our direction and success as part of a small team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will collaborate closely across all teams to enable and expedite product innovation and ensure alignment with market needs and business goals.
Core Responsibilities:
Product Management means different things at different companies. The core responsibilities of this role are focused on surfacing insights and facilitating progress, serving as a “glue player” to help us accelerate and improve.
Customer Discovery:
- Engage with customers and prospects to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
- Use customer feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development that drives sustainable growth and differentiation in the market.
Problem Discovery:
- Identify key customer problems and jobs to be done through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Drive prioritization of problems based on impact and feasibility to drive effective solution discovery.
Solution Discovery:
- Work closely with Engineering as they explore and develop innovative solutions that address customer needs and business objectives.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring solutions are intuitive and valuable to end-users.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including co-founders, sales, marketing, support, engineering, and customer success, to gather input and align priorities.
- Communicate product updates and roadmap plans to stakeholders, fostering transparency, buy-in, and excitement.
Backlog Management:
- Maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product increments.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make data-informed decisions.
- Exemplary communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on SaaS products in roles such as product management, product design, engineering, data analysis, or user research.
- Experience working on pre-Product/Market fit teams
- Demonstrated understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
- High comfort level with ambiguity and working on a small team in a fast moving environment.
