Product Manager
About Us
A massive shift is taking place within SaaS. Just as perpetual licensing gave way to subscription, subscription is giving way to usage-based pricing. But tying revenue to usage fundamentally changes how every part of the business operates, from billing teams to the C-suite. Turnstile is the modern stack to help companies adopt and scale with usage-based pricing.
We're a small, fully remote, and proven team with strong backing from First Round Capital, prominent usage-based founders and operators, and other top investors. The last company we started, Second Measure, scaled to 70+ people and tens of millions in revenue, received multiple "best places to work" awards, and was ultimately acquired by Bloomberg in a landmark deal.
The Opportunity
As our second product manager hire, you'll have an outsized opportunity at manifesting our product vision and fundamentally improving the way in which companies with usage-based pricing operate. You’ll do whatever it takes to help drive customer adoption of our current products and ultimately be responsible for owning a new product from ideation to launch. You’ll navigate seamlessly between ideating on high-level product strategy, sweating the nitty-gritty details of a feature’s implementation, gathering feedback from customers, and synthesizing the feedback into actionable next steps.
You’ll work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver delightful and intuitive experiences that solve immediate customer pain points that are long-term aligned with our company’s strategic direction. Joining us means becoming a key part of a tight-knit team of experienced operators and repeat founders who are shaping the future of SaaS. You'll help lay the foundation for our product as we continue to find product-market fit, while ensuring that the user interface and user experience are top-notch.
In this role, we'll ask you to:
- Be the customer's number one fan. You will deeply understand customer needs and partner with engineering and design to build a product that delights the customer
- Own a new product category from inception to launch
- Constantly iterate on the product to increase adoption and depth of value with our customers
- Keep everyone in the loop. Engineering, Design, and Product are always in lockstep and other internal teams have the product visibility they need to succeed in their roles
- Be tapped into the competitive landscape and the emergent trends among our customers
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have proven B2B SaaS PM experience (4+ years)
- You have a bias towards action, fast learning loops, and rapid iteration
- You're inclined to think of your product roadmap and decisions in terms of bets, ROI, and opportunity costs
- You understand that a compelling story can rally a team behind an ambitious goal and that thoughtfully written documentation will accelerate the likelihood of the team's success
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You'd enjoy working in a dynamic and high-trust environment
