Location: Fully Remote, UK, or willing to work UK hours
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent, 40 hour week, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm
Interviews: Max 3 stages totalling around 3.5 hours
Reports to: Head of Product, Matthew Dickinson
Salary: We have benchmarked a base salary in the region of £65,000-£75,000

Our enterprise news aggregation and alerting platform is used by law firms across the globe. We are passionate about what we do - particularly, our Product department. This is where you come in. Our Product team is growing, and we're hiring for a Product Manager (PM) who will take the lead in improving existing products as well as developing new products. We expect the PM to play a pivotal role in shaping our B2B strategy and execution over the coming 2-3 years.
We are looking for a PM with in-depth experience of Product Management, UX Design or Product Ops from a B2B SaaS environment with a history of managing stakeholders, creating and prioritising roadmaps based on business and user needs, writing user stories and launching products.
We would love to hear from you if you have the criteria below: 📬
- You have at least 4 years experience as a Product Manager (in B2B SaaS in a high growth tech/software industry in a start-up or scale-up). This experience should include working with a complex product, multiple integrations and extensive road maps.
- At least 2 years experience developing APIs / Integrating platforms
- You will have extensive commercially experience and have a customer-centric approach in Product Management, focusing on the customer needs
- Experience managing and leading a team and have a passion for developing others, to include motivating, coaching and mentoring
- Very technical and data driven with proven experience overseeing all elements of the Product Development Lifecycle
- An expert at Figma and can create prototypes and other content for testing out ideas and brainstorming
- Highly proficient in using other PM tools - for UX testing, Project Management, Feature Management etc
- A problem solver, with strong experience working on complex workflows and designing new flows and being able to break things down into simpler versions
- Strong communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling information that drives action.
- High Empathy and Curiosity. You strive to connect the dots and align stakeholders across differing viewpoints, cultures, and locations. We want you to be inquisitive and you will want to know as much as possible about our product and tools
- Experience working and collaborating with remote teams
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- The right to live and work in the UK or willing to work UK hours

The day-to-day job:
While the below is not an exhaustive list of your duties, it outlines the bulk of the role on a day-to-day basis.
- Work closely with the Head of Product on a day to day basis.
- You will become very knowledgeable about our product from a tech point of view. You will master everything there is to know about our platform.
- You will work closely with a product designer, to solve problems relating to the products you are working on. This may involve speaking to internal stakeholders on a variety of things.
- For the first 6-12 months you will be grasping the tools that are used internally.
- You may eventually be talking to customers, gathering and qualifying feedback.
- You will drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire company and revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- You will ensure that new functionality has been implemented in accordance with specifications.
- You will use quantitative & qualitative data to measure feature adoption, retention and satisfaction. To include measuring & reporting product KPIs and metrics to derive data-driven insights to inform your decisions.
- You will collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Vable and its features across primary market segments.
- You will gain an external perspective, understanding of our competitive positioning and threats and the rapidly evolving landscape. While developing strategic and operational responses to market and shifts.

❌ Why it might not be right for you?
- We are a 40 hour week, Mon-Fri and have core hours, unless stated otherwise or agreed. Being a small remote team, it's how we operate and you are expected to be available in those times.
- There are weekly meetings and people are expected to attend and contribute.
- It's a very busy role and we have big plans over the next 24 months.

Interview Process:
- Intro Call: You will meet a member of the People team on a 30 minute zoom call; you don't need to prepare anything in advance.
- Personality & Role Specific Tests
- Interview: If we’re both excited to proceed, you will be invited to a second stage interview with Matthew, Head of Product and another applicable manager.
- Final Interview: Will be with the Head of Product and another member of the product team. This part of the process may include a task/presentation.
