Your mission
As a Product Manager focused on the Booking experience at BlaBlaCar, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end booking journey for our customers. You will be responsible for creating a seamless and intuitive checkout process across all platforms, with a primary focus on driving conversion rates upwards. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data analytics and business, and customer support to deliver best-in-class booking experiences.
Your responsibilities
- Define & communicate the Product & Engineering strategy & roadmap to all stakeholders
- Define the associated backlog and roadmap, prioritizing the highest-impact projects
- Lead the prioritization, specification, and delivery follow-up of the Booking team
- Formalize and generate alignment on major decisions related to the Booking scope
- Deploy, follow up, and communicate about its execution among different teams
- Be the “go-to” product person on all Booking topics
- Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to drive product development from concept to launch. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market insights to make informed product decisions. Conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and monitoring processes to ensure the quality and reliability of products & services in your scope. Collaborate with engineering teams to address any issues or bugs promptly.
- Stakeholder Communication: communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Solicit feedback and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
Your qualifications
- 4+ years of work experience as a Product Manager
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Ability to derive insights from data and use them to inform product decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence without authority.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Strong plus:
- Experience working in an international environment, collaborating with diverse teams across different geographies
- Experience working for an Online Travel Agency (OTA) or e-commerce site or apps
