Meet the Team!

Our Product team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. If you are passionate about technology and are excited about working on cutting-edge communication and engagement solutions, we want you on our team.

Unifonic is growing rapidly and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our Business Messaging (Conversations) product team. Business Messaging is Unifonic’s conversational API platform. It is the fastest-growing B2B messaging platform in the region that enables customers to engage with their clients over preferred channels like WhatsApp for Business, Messenger, or Instagram Direct. In this role, you will own end-to-end product experience where you will seek to create streamlined and lovable business messaging communications while also maintaining best-in-class distributed system architecture standards.

Help us shape the future of communication by:

  • Collect business requirements that meet customers' needs and work closely with the engineering team to build products that customers love - we work in Scrum sprints with a SAFe flavor to them. The engg team is distributed across three countries.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product planning (we do half-annual and rolling planning), design, execution, and delivery of product investments against defined success metrics.
  • Develop, communicate, generate excitement for, and obtain the buy-in of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Dive deep into the business messaging best practices with various providers (e.g. Meta and Apple) and enrich our API offerings.
  • Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments together with growth opportunities.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Hands-on 5+ years of Product Management or related experience building customer-facing cloud products for businesses or developers.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving product strategies, preferably on the platform side of things.
  • Proficiency in the distributed cloud services architecture - API, data stores, microservices. Understanding of REST and GraphQL API design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Openness to work in a startup environment with various unknowns, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in the Business Messaging domain (such as WhatsApp Business, Apple Messages for Business, Google RBM, etc.) is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze customer requirements and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining sight of the big picture.
  • Fluent in English with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills, Arabic is a plus.

As a Unifone you’ll receive a range of benefits:
