The Network Product Line provides connectivity for clients across the firm as well as the millions of customers external to J.P. Morgan Chase. These days many types of devices are network connected, from the typical servers and desktops to light bulbs and temperature sensors. It is our group's responsibility to ensure that all such people and devices connect together smoothly, enabling the transport and sharing of data. Various products are using in the Network Product Line, which is responsible for the architecture, design, plan, build, deployment and operations of JPMC's worldwide communications network. Together, the Network Product Line team ensures excellence across our secure global network, consisting of ~30,000 circuits and ~125,000 networking devices (including ~60,000 Wireless Access Points), connecting 480+ corporate sites, 5,600 banking centers, 19,000 ATMs and 33 strategic datacenters.

Job Description

The Network Product Line for JP Morgan Chase is undertaking an aggressive product transformation agenda, including a review of our internal process, procedures, and tooling.

The Position:

We are seeking a highly effective and innovative Executive Director Product Manager to oversee the production of capabilities used to maintain and perform compliance on the infrastructure. The role will require leading a team of Product Owners in order to align capabilities into a platform to support the needs of our Network Product teams. This includes, but not limited to, configuration management, inventory management, identity management, data management, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product ownership, evaluation of components and recommendations for authoring improvements to common capabilities.
  • Partner with Network Product Owners in refining the overall delivery processes to meet their needs and business goals. Specifically, identify areas of opportunity to optimize and enhance the automation experience.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve the capabilities for product delivery.
  • Partner with Experimentation Team to execute multivariate or A/B tests
  • Partner with Architecture Team to support their data driven model
  • Monitor and govern alignment of automation to the platform capabilities
  • Partner with Compliance, Control, Legal and Risk to ensure all regulatory and legal obligates are maintained.
  • Partner with product owners and engineers on new customer facing initiatives
  • Outcome-focused with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining products, and have a management style that fosters teamwork.
  • Manage cross-impacted initiatives and stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage priorities and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience with hands-on software development experience.
  • Experience with network device management in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of network best practices
  • Experience with driving the strategy for multiple products
  • Experience with the Agile process
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong technical background, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for software management and emerging technologies.
  • In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skill
  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business needs
