AS A PRODUCT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Working on our Experiential suite of products used by millions of attendees (registration, gamification, photo ops, reservation systems, surveys etc.)
  • Owning the full user flow - from event organizers to staff to end-users - from platform to onsite hardware
  • Translating requests into product specifications with a special focus on creating scalable solutions, in collaboration with our Design and Engineering teams
  • Writing clear product specs that outline the problem (including user stories)
  • Writing detailed User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, and organizing the stories into Epics
  • Tracking the feature through its lifecycle
  • Writing documentation on features, as needed
  • Participating in backend architecture decisions
  • Owning the data flow between the different features, APIs and products
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps outlining product vision and key milestones
  • Managing custom development requests from approval based on roadmap and scoping to delivery.
  • Measuring impact based on product analytics, evaluating hypotheses, and continuing to iterate solutions based on user feedback
  • Communicating effectively with different stakeholders who have various priorities and concerns (clients, internal Sales team, client administrators, developers, designers, senior leadership etc.)
  • Working cross-functionally with our customer-facing teams and customers, as well as with other Product Managers, to understand customer needs, help define our product roadmap, and manage product launches
  • Becoming a subject matter expert for our Experiential products and acting as a resource for colleagues who need help
  • Ensuring that releases go out as planned and on schedule
  • Being available on, and immediately after, release days to watch for and assist in bug resolution
  • Acting as the designated Product team member monitoring the queue for any immediate post-release issues

OFFICE INFORMATION:

Patron Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Pittsburgh (U.S.), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!

If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Patron Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Job requirements

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years experience in Product Management
  • Experience working on technical-heavy products, specifically with API, SSO, and App integrations
  • Experience integrating with different analytics packages (Google Analytics, Adobe Experiences etc.) preferred
  • Experience defining and managing a product roadmap
  • Strong understanding of backend technologies, including databases & APIs
  • Experience working with clients on custom technology solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize technology to track outcomes and inform future decisions
  • Track record of working cross-functionally (paying special attention to not just Product and Engineering, but also enabling customer-facing teams)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company, as well as externally
