Product Manager, Reporting
The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Product Manager to join a team working on a high-impact, high-priority mission within the Reporting Product Group at HubSpot.
HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better. We believe that when our customers run their marketing, sales, and service teams on HubSpot, there’s a multiplier effect and the flywheel starts spinning. All of the touchpoints that our customers are having with their customers creates data in the HubSpot CRM. In the Reporting Product Group, we’re focused on helping turn CRM data into real answers and action for the business, so our customers can attract, engage, and delight their buyer.
Today, HubSpot customers struggle to connect the tools they use every day to the data and insight they need to take action. That’s where reporting dashboards come in. We have a vision for our dashboards product to become a platform that powers actionable insights across HubSpot. In other words, we want to make dashboards embeddable wherever work happens for our customers (think sending email, organizing marketing campaigns, or tracking deals), and we plan to make major progress in 2023. We’re looking for a Product Manager who can build a deep understanding of this customer problem space, make the vision better, and drive results.
Why this role is exciting:
This Product Manager will join the Report Management team within the Reporting Product Group. This is a high performing, fast moving team that is fully staffed with front end engineers, back end engineers, and a senior product designer. The team’s focus is to enable our customers to view, share, and manage their reports and dashboards in HubSpot, but we recently expanded the focus to include the emerging vision for dashboards as a platform.
We’re looking for an ambitious PM who is excited to improve an existing portfolio of features while also breaking into a new space. Importantly, we expect you to be comfortable with cross-team collaboration across HubSpot’s Product Org, have a proven track record of shipping successful software products, and thrive in ambiguity.
In this role you will:
- Join a product-led culture that puts the customer first.
- Collaborate on an ambitious product strategy that is driven by our customers, the business, and your analysis of data and market trends.
- Ship new product and develop features iteratively, in close collaboration with partners in UX, Engineering, Analytics, UX Research, and go-to-market teams.
- Have clear visibility and expectations for career growth opportunities.
- Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that’s at home, in an office, or a blend of the two.

Role requirements:
- Experience and evidence of launching software products successfully to customers
- Proven ability to combine market, business and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs
- Strong communicator; can articulate product vision to a variety of audiences
- Confident to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Experience making decisions through deep data analysis
- Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) space
- A respectful teammate and collaborator
- Curious about the HubSpot product and ready to learn
- Excited to understand customer needs deeply and creatively solve problems
- Nice to have: Experience building customer-facing data or reporting software products
