We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the direction of Pangea’s Vault service, which is a critical offering in Pangea’s broader Security Platform as a Service (SPaaS). Pangea’s Vault service is a developer-friendly offering that makes storing, generating, and managing cryptographic keys and secrets very easy. In this role, you’ll help define and execute on the product strategy, including definition of Vault features, influencing the UI design, definition of API endpoints, working on the strategy, KPIs and roadmap for the Vault service. You’ll focus specifically on the developer experience and ensuring it’s aligned with the mental model of our user personas.
You’ll spend your time:
- Defining the features and developer experience of our Vault service
- Managing the Vault backlog of epics and user stories, as well as the product release cycle with engineering
- Conducting developer and market research in the areas of secrets, key, and certificate management
- Defining the API endpoints for new APIs
- Monitoring KPIs in usage dashboards and Full Story, and making recommendations on how to improve engagement in the product
- Build UI wireframes for product concepts
- Engaging with the developer community on vault-oriented and general security topics
- Managing pricing for the Vault service
- Contribute blogs on relevant topics within the Vault product category, as well as the emerging trends in programming, APIs, and security.
- Be in the constant know of emerging use cases and developer challenges in and around Vaults
- Study and understand the independent as well as the enterprise developer mindsets and personas in the context of Vault
- Competitive analysis
You should apply if you:
- 4 years of experience as a Product Manager.
- Have a proven track record with delivering SaaS products to market from business case thru to GTM and successful customer adoption
- Love the art and science of product management
- Are customer-obsessed! Have in-depth understanding of how successful developer/user experience are defined
- Have a deep understanding of Vaults, how developers user them, and what operating environments they must integrate in
- Have a keen ability to synthesize a mass of data including market research, user feedback and asks, industry standards and general trends and then translating this into experience strategy and roadmap
- Are comfortable influencing and leading with a wide range of different internal stakeholders, from internal engineers to executives
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and enjoy helping others to learn new things
- Are comfortable in a distributed work environment to collaborate across time zones and cultures, and working with technical oriented teams
- Conducting ongoing customer and prospective customer conversations to acquire a deep understand of their needs and pain points to identify new opportunities for Pangea
- Working in a fast-paced, empowered, distributed environment that respects the team, our customers, and our partners.
- Working collaboratively, communicate proactively, take a team-first mind-set, and skillfully give and receive difficult feedback when necessary

The base compensation range for this role, not including bonus, is $120,000-$160,000. The base salary range is specific to the United States. The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, work location, specialty and training. If the final candidate has a different level of experience, the base salary target range may be lower or higher than what is published.
