The Human Resources function at JPMorgan Chase is shifting to a product-driven way of working. The HR Product Organization sits within Corporate HR and plays an important role in driving our transformation. The organization will lead our efforts to identify outcomes, goals and measures of success across all of our products applying agile principles, continuous discovery and a common set of data architecture and delivery tools.

The Total Rewards Product Team is seeking a highly effective and innovative Product Manager to lead an area of our Competitive Pay product. You will work with the Product Leader for Competitive Pay to drive the formulation and realization of our product strategy to deliver equitable and competitive compensation packages to attract and retain the best talent. You will assist with monitoring relevant industries, markets and technologies to proactively identify opportunities and trends likely to impact our business and suggest strategies for addressing and capitalizing on them. You will prioritize and implement digital advancements to support the employee experience.

The VP Product Manageris accountable for the business outcome delivery, value realization, and customer experience for an area of our Competitive Pay product . The Product Manager is driven by customer satisfaction, technical optimization, and reducing cost-to-deliver. The Product Manager is responsible for fulfilling the product strategy and outcomes, enabling a cohesive customer experience. Coordinates with Product Leader for Competitive Pay, other Compensation product managers and key partners to prioritize the product backlog and ultimately is responsible for the health of the product.

A successful VP Product Manager will be intellectually curious, think holistically and go beyond technology solutions to drive meaningful outcomes. The Product Manager will create a supportive work environment that promotes experimentation and allows for smart failure, recognizes achievements and empowers product development team members to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day work involved with product development to ensure product success while staying focused on critical scope.
  • In coordination with Competitive Pay Product Leader:
  • Define product strategy and communicate it to the team
  • Define and develop the appropriate metrics to measure success, assess performance and evaluate product effectiveness
  • Manage the end-to-end product performance, including financial, risk, operations and business performance
  • Deliver against prioritized product roadmap
  • Lead the ongoing design and improvement of a cohesive set of experiences, processes and services that provide value to customers
  • Understand discovery techniques, agile delivery and related methodologies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Maintain focus on leveraging and advancing the tools used by the product team to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze customer feedback and customer research to create compelling product/experience proposals
  • Sustain customer-centric focus and keep rapport with end users
  • Mitigate issues and navigate roadblocks
  • Maintain strong controls in close partnership with internal functions and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes
  • Primary owner for the understanding of the customer journey within the product
  • Communicate regularly on progress, program status, and release content

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to execute and manage multiple priorities and deliverables concurrently
  • Collaborates across groups and regions to deliver
  • Tech savvy - can translate product vision and roadmap into clear requirements and processes that engineers and designers can deliver against
  • Analytical and data-driven - can synthesize key insights and adopt and/or solution quickly while managing to OKRs
  • Customer obsessed - develops deep empathy and understanding in service of creating frictionless end-to-end experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to represent the product to stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain a product backlog, and write stories and epics
  • Experience with creating and maintaining KPI monitoring tools, and reporting on key findings
  • Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Proven track record of delivery; ability to drive concepts to execution
  • Product Manager experience, not necessarily from the Compensation domain
