About the Role

Vidyard is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Growth team. Reporting to the Director, Growth, you will be responsible for enabling our experimentation with Product-Led Growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute on go-to-market strategies for Growth initiatives that drive user acquisition, activation, retention and monetization.

This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada.

About the Team

Our Growth team is an autonomous organization that is responsible for accelerating Vidyard’s investments in Product-Led Growth and Self-Service, by rapidly experimenting across the user lifecycle. Our cross-functional team is staffed with Data, Engineering, Design and Marketing talent, and we’re responsible for delivering high-impact experiments that tangibly improve our users’ experience with our products. We’re passionate about A/B testing and validating hypotheses with data, as well as about maintaining high standards of software quality and performance. We collaborate with teams across all parts of the business to drive user acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Growth team’s experiments, new product launches and feature releases, focusing on driving user acquisition, adoption and conversion.
  • Work with the wider Product Marketing organization to develop a messaging and positioning framework we can apply to all of the Growth team’s experiments.
  • Develop messaging and positioning into compelling copy that resonates with our users and customers
  • Work with our Growth Marketing Manager to rapidly experiment with messaging across our website and product experience. Define key metrics and track the performance of Growth initiatives to drive data-informed decision making
  • Identify long-term investment opportunities within successful Growth experiments, and work with Vidyard’s Product Management organization to shape them
  • Collaborate with Vidyard’s Marketing team to align Growth initiatives with Marketing campaigns 
  • Conduct qualitative user interviews and research to better understand our user’s needs and work with our designer to solve for them.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Growth Team to identify opportunities to improve user onboarding, engagement, and retention through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop compelling content and collateral that effectively communicates the value of our products to target audiences.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, user needs, and opportunities for growth..
  • Pro-actively communicate the Growth team’s roadmap, strategy, and experiment results with Vidyard’s wider Go-To-Market organization
  • Define key metrics and track the performance of Growth initiatives to drive data-informed decision making
  • Test, analyze results, and iterate on Growth strategies to optimize outcomes

  • Gain hands-on experience across our funnel, from acquisition to retention
  • Be an expert in Product Marketing, but occasionally wear the hat of a Growth Marketer and Data Analyst 
  • Learn from other experts in Product Management and Marketing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product-led growth

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing for a SaaS business
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a penchant for positioning and messaging SaaS products
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working with cross-functional teams and learning from the people in them
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
  • A knack for “zooming out” and thinking holistically about Product launches
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and learn new things every day
  • Comfort with failure: you focus on learning from failures versus being demotivated by them
  • A data-driven mindset and an itch to ship top quality experiences with speed and agility
  • A passion for all things Product-Led Growth
