Overview
Each year, billions of dollars change hands to resolve tens of thousands of legal claims. The lawsuits driving this activity often receive prime coverage from national media outlets like The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg, etc. What’s not widely known is the software used to manage the resolution of these legal claims is decades old. At Rubris, we created a better way for Fortune 100 companies, Am Law 100 law firms, leading national plaintiffs’ law firms and other key stakeholders to manage and resolve mass legal claims through our proprietary software platform, Rubris Crosslink.
Rubris was formed three years ago by veterans of the software and mass legal claims industries. We developed Rubris Crosslink as the solution for managing large amounts of complex information (data, documents, etc.) and enabling people involved in these cases to easily use that information to make decisions and accomplish goals through workflows, reporting, and other features.
We are looking for an intellectually curious, eager person to join our team in a pivotal role for our organization as a Product Owner.

How you will contribute to our team:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and customers to co-develop and execute on a roadmap delivering features from concept to launch.
- Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
- Work with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
- Perform Quality Assurance testing when needed.
- Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
- Develop and maintain team metrics and processes to foster efficient and effective workflow and collaborations.
- Work with the Consulting team to manage projects and custom client implementations.
Skills and qualifications that will help you succeed in the role:
- At least four years of software product or project development experience
- At least two years of experience in Product Owner, Product Management and/or Product Development role
- Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
- Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc.
- Experience with Agile software development tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with process mapping, workflows, and documentation
- Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment

- $110,000 to $140,000 annual total compensation, a portion of which is incentive based
