The Product Owner (PO) for the Communications Team will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our messaging, ticketing, and notification systems. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of customer needs. The PO will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, customer support, and marketing, to ensure that our communications platform is robust, efficient, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have experience with large language models (LLMs) and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive automation and innovation within the communications domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Vision and Strategy:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the Communications Team.
  • Align the communications platform with overall business goals and customer needs.
  • Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve the product.

Roadmap and Planning:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap.
  • Prioritize features and tasks based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.

Development and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement messaging, ticketing, and notification systems.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of new features and improvements.
  • Oversee the development of AI-powered automation to handle routine tasks and enhance efficiency.

Customer Experience:

  • Advocate for the end-user experience, ensuring that the communications platform is intuitive and meets user needs.
  • Implement and oversee systems for tracking and improving customer interactions and satisfaction.
  • Develop templates and automated responses to ensure consistent and efficient communication.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the communications platform.
  • Regularly review performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report on progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Lead the Communications Team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Must be able to pass a technical interview.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, particularly within communications or similar technology domains.
  • Strong understanding of messaging systems, ticketing platforms, and notification systems.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI-driven automation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
