Program Management Specialist
Summary
The Program Management Specialist will support the Workiva Global Partnerships & Alliances team. Based on the strategy and prioritized initiatives of the team, this position provides support on larger, strategic and cross-functional programs, and will own smaller-scale projects or required day-to-day activities.
This person will work with stakeholders across the business to determine scope, develop action plans, coordinate resources, communicate progress, and drive projects or activities to completion.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinates and leads cross-functional team meetings and program / project plans in order to ensure timely progress
- Networks with stakeholders to build cross-functional relationships to further build, define and execute strategies and initiatives
- Plans, monitors and manages initiatives to effectively mitigate risks. Provides transparency through key status updates and established metrics through communication with Executives and/or Leadership
- Establishes strong internal and external relationships and partnerships to ensure success of the projects/programs
- Identifies and effectively executes necessary change management plans
- This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports
What you need
Minimum qualifications
- Does not require any previous professional experience, however, typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred qualifications
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong understanding of Program and Project Management frameworks
- Personal effectiveness/credibility
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Teamwork oriented and can thrive working alongside many different perspectives to get things done
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, continuously evolving environment with the ability to prioritize accordingly
- Effective negotiator and creative problem solver who can build consensus and drive results in partnership with stakeholders from individual contributors to executive leadership
- Can lead through influence, partnering with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goal
- Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
- Prior experience within a SaaS environment
- Prior experience utilizing Salesforce to build and analyze reports
Physical requirements and Working conditions
- Up to 15% travel
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You’ll Be Rewarded:
Salary range in the US:
$52,000.00 - $83,000.00
- A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
- Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
- 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
