WHO YOU ARE:
Project Manager play a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia software platforms. Zinnia Senior Software Engineer work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of Zinnia’s internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help Zinnia and Zinnia clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. Senior Software Engineer interacts directly with project managers and business stakeholders and may periodically interact directly with Zinnia’s clients. Senior Software Engineer will facilitate, lead, and enable junior team members by acting as a mentor for soft skills and/or technical subject matter experts.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Project Management and Portfolio Management towards successful delivery with flawless execution with excellent People Management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in adopting best-in-class and established policies and methodologies, strong data-driven governance, effective risk management, system monitors, and controls to ensure successful management and reporting.
- Experience in Managing the complete life cycle of IT projects with a Global team.
- Define organizational model.
- Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate dependency management across the projects and programs.
- Facilitate effective change control process.
- Track deliverables and benefit realization.
- Supervising and leading the program and project staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between programs and working to ensure initiatives meet the goals and objectives of the executive leadership team.
- Adoption of the right tools, standards, templates and methodology for project execution.
- Assemble and manage to a budget and organizational financial targets.
- Collaborate with our global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Graduate Engineer / MCA, MBA qualification with Project Management certifications such as PMP / PRINCE2.
- Over 10 years of experience in IT development and maintenance in the Insurance of BFS sector.
- Strong Project management, People Management, and Portfolio Management experience with exposure to diverse technologies and development methodologies.
- Over 5+ years of experience as Project and Portfolio Manager managing multiple projects with global teams.
- Should have excellent delivery excellence & Process mindset towards flawless execution of projects with data-driven governance.
- Undergraduate degree in technology, finance, or business and relevant leadership experience in technology.
- Highly effective problem-solving, decision-making, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- Experience leading integrated, geographically dispersed global delivery teams.
- Experience with budgeting and Financial management for Projects.
- Experience in People management covering recruitment, career planning, and Performance Management activities.
- Relevant professional (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prince, Scrum) certified.
- Should be familiar with various technologies and insurance industry.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively with global Zinnia team.
- Knowledge of and experience in the insurance, banking, and financial services industry.
