Project Manager, Marketing

Overview

As the Project Manager for Marketing, you will lead project planning and resourcing to support the delivery of innovative work. This role requires someone with strong program-management skills,

demonstrated experience in process design, the ability to be collaborative and capable of initiating action, and the ability to effectively influence across senior levels within both Marketing and with business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage Marketing programs and campaigns requested by the team, varying in degree of size and scope
  • Develop and own project management standards and procedures, deploying process improvements with other teams as appropriate
  • Help prioritize marketing requests in line with business priorities and strategic objectives
  • Maintain documentation and continuously optimize project plans within Workfront
  • Assist in maintaining resource allocation of shared services teams (web, content, design, operations) ensuring teams are at a reasonable capacity
  • Identify any risks for deliverables and develop actionable plans to mitigate
  • Proactively review processes and recommend improvements and workflow efficiencies with clear implementation plans
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, define and refine any missing requirements
  • Assist in the review of creative briefs and provide feedback on scope, looking for connections to other projects and recommending simplification and integration points
  • Participate and lead reviews to determine the feasibility of deadlines and monitor progress
  • Own and operate the project management system (Adobe Workfront) providing leadership within the department to adapt and rely on the system
  • Conduct post-project analysis identifying best practices and opportunities for improvement
  • Help create and maintain workflow and system documentation

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing operations, workflow, and/or project management experience required
  • Experience in Adobe Workfront or equivalent project management software is required
  • Familiarity with both digital and traditional marketing is preferred
  • Experience reviewing briefs and scopes of work
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $95,500 – $119,286. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
