Roles and Responsibilities
As a React Native Developer, you will work very closely with the Engineering and Product Managers to lead end-to-end development. You will be responsible for
- Building new and innovative features for our mobile app
- Collaborate with data scientists and backend developers to integrate our sophisticated product recognition engine on mobile devices
- Building pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for experience on par with native applications
- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption
What do we look for?
- 3 to 5 years of experience in building consumer-facing mobile applications in product companies, preferably SaaS.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate minimum 2 apps in Appstore/google play which was developed in RN and is currently in use
- Deep understanding of advantages and limitations of React Native on both Android and iOS platforms
- Experience with camera modules such as expo-camera
- Experience in building offline first apps
- Source code management using git
- Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
- Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc
- Experience in at least one native language, Android or iOS(Swift/Objective C)
- Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
