About the Role:

Windstream is seeking a referral marketing leader to join a growing in-house digital media team. As the program manager for marketing referrals, you will lead the strategy and execution of the Kinetic Referral Program.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, an innate problem solver, and a data-driven marketer with a passion for building relationships, word-of-mouth marketing and leveraging brand sentiment and automation tools to grow customer and community advocacy.

  • Functional Expert: Subject matter expert of specific functions, including knowledge of principles, practices, and domain knowledge, contact strategies, designing A/B testing, customer segmentation and analytics. The ability to use data to build marketing plans and analyze a channel’s effectiveness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design triggers and automations, incentive structures and promotional strategies to drive consumer-to-consumer referral acquisition.
  • Develop, manage, and track referral marketing campaigns to deliver relevant, timely and impactful experiences across the prospect and customer journey from end-to-end; including but not limited to testing, customer segmentation, creative strategy, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis.
  • Design an attractive rewards program to incentivize participants with simple and clearly defined CTAs.
  • Work closely with the content team to strategize on ways to include referral customers in the development of digital & editorial content amongst new and existing customers.
  • Uncover key insights about our biggest evangelists to create experiences that truly delight and deliver.
  • Partner with internal team members, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to identify and implement referral promotion opportunities through internal and external channels.
  • Partner with Business Operations to level up our referral tracking and measurement to enable data-driven decision-making and to ensure referral campaigns are properly tracked, leads are properly assigned, and automation strategies are properly managed.
  • Support and advocate for further growth of referral program initiatives with robust research and analysis around our customer cohorts.

Do You Have:

  • 7+ years professional experience in a fast-paced environment working in referral marketing, CRM growth, base marketing, or acquisition marketing
  • Proven track record driving measurable business results through referral marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling high performing campaigns with a strong focus on personalization and loyalty programs
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to surface meaningful insights from large data sets
  • Excellent communication, project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to foster alignment, partnership, and collaboration across teams
  • A creative problem-solver who loves to roll up their sleeves and get things done
  • Analyze competitive marketplace and stay abreast of industry trends as well as opportunities to innovate.
  • Hands-on experience with referral marketing software is a plus
