Job Overview
Responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of business intelligence, analysis, and reporting solutions. Gather, arrange, and inspect data using various procedures to deduce information towards shaping the trajectories of the Company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Write reports that leverage various data sources and create multi-hierarchical graphics/charts that explain various healthcare and financial measures.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
- Create and modify reports and report templates using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Review and translate business requirements/user stories into report requirements.
- Research data required and database relationships to build requested reports.
- Research new methods and tools for presenting data using easy to understand approaches.
- Stay current on healthcare Revenue Cycle, customer data, and technology trends.
- Manage all reporting needs to include generating and validating routine, scheduled, and ad hoc reports.
- Recommend process, procedural, reporting, and system changes to improve functions.
- Suggest modifications to databases, tables, and processes to automate reports and analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or commensurate experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare Revenue Cycle industry.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- 2+ years of experience with T-SQL.
- Proven experience with SSRS, SSAS, and MDX.
- Experience with analytics and automation of report files generation using Python and/or VBA is a plus.
