Restaurant Recruiter
Description
The Restaurant Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various positions across our 80+ fast-food franchise locations. The recruiter will focus on filling roles such as service crew, cooks, cashiers, and other restaurant staff. This individual will be responsible for developing a robust talent pipeline to meet the fast-paced and high-turnover demands of the quick-service restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing and Outreach:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Build relationships with local community organizations, schools, and other institutions to widen the candidate pool.
Interviewing and Candidate Assessment:
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' fit for various roles.
- Coordinate and manage the interview process with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Hiring Process Management:
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements during the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics to HR leadership.
Employee Onboarding and Retention Support:
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Implement strategies to reduce turnover, including follow-ups with new employees and gathering feedback to improve the hiring process.
Market Analysis and Compensation Benchmarking:
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive compensation packages to attract top talent.
- Advise on competitive wages, benefits, and incentives to ensure the company remains an employer of choice.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the quick-service restaurant or retail industries.
- Strong understanding of the fast-food industry and its unique staffing challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with candidates at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Salary: $1000-$1300 USD per month
