Purpose: To grow Dame’s wholesale business through expanding existing accounts and opening new, brand building accounts

Job Description:

Dame is looking for a driven, personable, and analytical Sales Director to lead wholesale strategy for our prestige accounts. We are seeking someone who excels at growing existing accounts, bringing on and nurturing new accounts, and negotiating contracts. If you love to hustle and are excited about strategic planning, retention, and acquisition of retailers, this is the job for you! You’ll definitely be the most interesting person at dinner parties ;)

Accountabilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly / yearly revenue and profit goals
  • Establish and nurture relationships with buyers in the beauty, wellness, and prestige channels, developing your own pipeline and book of business by selling to new accounts and growing existing accounts
  • Develop and maintain forecasts and reporting by retailer
  • Demonstrate Dame’s unique value proposition to prospects and customers through trade shows, trainings, and collaborating with marketing to create effective sales materials
  • Manage OKRs/KPIs, budget, & process

Salary range: $75K base + commission. Total compensation of $120K - $200K+

Requirements

You are/have:

  • Experienced sales professional with 5+ years in the FDM/Beauty/Natural Market space.
  • Proven track record of closing new accounts while growing existing accounts.
  • A strong negotiator thinking about the overall bottom-line impact of a new contract.
  • Upbeat go-getter ready to make an impact on the top line.
  • Experience creating punchy sales decks that are optimized depending on the customer.
  • Great at working w/ marketing teams to develop collateral and trade materials to support wholesale needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentation and relationship management,
  • Aware of market trends and door-opening trade shows.
  • Confident in analyzing sales performance to identify opportunities and communicate insights with the team.
