In an effort to reinforce the business and the desirability of Orveda Skincare, we seek a Sales Development Executive to be responsible for executing the strategic business initiatives on this brand for the Northeast Region in Luxury Department stores.
The Sales Development Executive is responsible for delivering retail sales goals, influencing retailer partnerships, recruiting, hiring, and coaching top talent rooted in skincare selling, driving brand market share, and developing local joint business plans with each point of distribution. The Sales Development Executive also owns critical organizational leadership and can work lock step with all cross functional partners both internally and externally.
This position will report short term into the Vice President of Field Sales and long term into the Regional Sales Director. Luxury skincare sales in Luxury Department stores and brand building experience is required.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Achieve/exceed Quarterly/Seasonal/Annual retail sales goals .
- Consistently deliver on commitments, proactively communicate solutions to capture upside $ or mitigate downside risk to goal.
- Regularly analyze daily/weekly retail sales and adjust to trends or future anticipated support changes.
- Partner with internal and external support teams and regularly communicate results from executed activities, maximize opportunities.
- Go the extra mile to ensure flawless consumer journey and experience at each point of sale.
- Own Joint Business Planning with retailer partners to drive accountability and seasonal sufficiency.
- Planning to leverage promotional calendars/visual dates, new product introductions, storewide promotions.
- Ensure Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors execute only Orveda approved events in-store with excellence; partner with and solicit support of local Special Event, Marketing, Visual and Personal Shopper Teams to drive sales and brand awareness. Lead counter staff in booking and executing monthly facial events.
- Leading, Scheduling and Coaching Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors.
- Perfectly execute corporate by-door scheduling guidance & retail sales expectations.
- Ensure all Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors fulfill door retail goal expectations.
- Weekly: Monitor specialists’ schedule adherence, productivity vs goal, ROI effectiveness, and clientelling % vs targets.
- Ensure Coty’s In-Store team builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with all levels of store management.
- Regularly coach and lead by example through active participation in selling, events, and shoulder to shoulder training.
QUALIFICATIONS
We’d love to see candidates who have:Essential:
Experience in opening and developing new skincare counters in Luxury department stores. Hiring Staff and planning and execution.
Extensive skincare education and knowledge
Basic to Intermediate Computer Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred: 5+ years related experience as an Account Executive
Exceptional management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven knowledge of industry trends and best practices and ability to work across functional areas.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including out of state travel. Required to work from a home office and can travel between client locations. This position allows for one office day per week.
Desirable:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

BASE SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $100,000
