Sales Development Representative

About this role:

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be in a visible position to have a direct impact on the success of RevJet. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing to execute outbound prospecting campaigns and build pipeline. Your goal will be to spark engagement with key contacts at target accounts and book introductory sales meetings. You’ll drive this outcome with meaningful and tailored communication via phone, email, social media, etc.

This will be a remote position based in the UK (being based near London is a plus!). This is where our SDR team is primarily based.

The Eastern US is our secondary preferred location.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales/business development at SaaS/tech company, including outbound phone calls
  • 1 year of experience selling into B2C marketing teams strongly desired
  • Successful use of multi-touch, multi-channel ABM outreach to make contact with target prospects
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and/or similar systems preferred, but not required
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota goal

To be successful, you’ll be:

  • Comfortable and confident on the phone is an absolute must. Most of your time will be spent focused on outbound prospecting rather than inbound inquiries.
  • A good listener and quick learner. Whether you’re learning a new product, new tool, or new account, you’re fast to pick up and absorb information.
  • Understanding of the difference between ‘talking to’ and ‘speaking with’ prospects, and you value the latter.
  • Clear, effective communicator when working with remote team members
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented with a solid work ethic.
  • Appreciate the importance of investing the time and effort needed to be persistent and understand your prospect in the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed prospecting goals for outbound calls, emails, and sales meetings booked
  • Research accounts to understand their goals, challenges, and key contacts; incorporate that background into relevant communications
  • Leverage messaging and account targeting from Marketing for outreach for ABM campaigns
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and leads as needed
  • Must be able to work during United States business hours as most target accounts are based in that region
