Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Seeq will be responsible for building pipeline via outbound prospecting into potential customers who have expressed interest in learning more about Seeq or that appear to be strong potential customers based on our ideal customer profile. You will be responsible for setting meetings and qualifying prospective customers through targeted questions about their overall business and time series data. You’ll spend most of your time on various outbound prospecting tactics and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to attract potential new clients using Seeq’s targeted messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Research target accounts and contacts to set quality meetings and create pipeline opportunities. Target new and existing accounts through outbound calling efforts and by creating and executing strategic email and social campaigns
- Qualify potential customers to gather information about their business strategy, goals, time series data challenges and current technology used
- Manage, and nurture quality leads by sharing Seeq content (blogs, whitepapers, webinars etc.)
- Collaborate with Sales to strategize best ways to prospect into target accounts and contribute to account plans. Share feedback on messaging and tactics
- Follow-up on inbound leads in target accounts as needed to create meetings and opportunities
- Track activities (email, calls, LinkedIn touches), MQLs, contacts, and account information in CRM
- Apply effective communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Work in a fast-paced environment and take the initiative to hit monthly targets, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with the broader team
Qualifications
Seeq prefers to emphasize talent, capacity to contribute, and passion, but the ideal candidate is likely to have many of the following characteristics:
• A passion for technology and software sales, 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in an B2B enterprise SaaS company is preferred. Manufacturing knowledge also preferred
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• German and English language skills required. Additional language skills- French, Italian, or Spanish are also preferred
• Experience with outbound prospecting to large enterprise companies and senior level targets
• Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external),
• A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Resourcefulness and results driven operating style
• Collaborative and coachable mindset while continuously improving your skills and impact
• Ability to ask question, gather information and formulate an action plan to connect business needs to solutions
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, take initiative and manage time effectively
• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Gong also preferred
• Located and available to work in the EMEA time zones
