We are currently seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our outbound sales team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in proactively prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing the sales pipeline. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and other members of the revenue team, the Sales Executive will contribute to building a metrics-driven and high-velocity sales machine through innovation and optimization.
Key responsibilities:
- Enable the outbound sales team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and develop the sales pipeline.
- Actively engage in refining and implementing the company's go-to-market strategy, defining ideal customer profiles, and developing tactics for engaging prospects via campaigns.
- Promote operational excellence through effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and utilizing data to recognize trends and enhance business performance.
- Supervise account executives, overseeing a high-velocity transactional sales process and focusing on key activities and KPIs (call volume, pipeline coverage, conversion effectiveness, etc.).
- Provide regular, data-based updates to the CRO and leadership team regarding progress against quota attainment, team performance, and challenges encountered.
- Translate market and customer insights into feedback to influence the product roadmap.
- Contribute to building a culture of collaboration, achievement, and success.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of relevant sales experience: Proven track record in outbound sales, with a history of surpassing sales quotas, preferably within startup environments.
- Engagement expertise: Experience using multiple channels for prospect engagement, including but not limited to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, and phone.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with financial products (foreign-exchange, payments), international import-export, and/or selling into SMEs.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate strategies and results to colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales technologies designed to support a data-driven sales culture.
- Team management skills: Proven track record of hiring, training, coaching, and motivating sales teams.
- Leadership and management proficiency: Effective leadership and management skills, coupled with an appreciation for a mission-driven company.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English with proficiency in other languages.
