How You'll Make an Impact: We're Loud Rumor - where the best gyms go to grow. By joining our passionate sales team, you will be changing the lives of fitness studio owners all around the globe. The Sales Manager will lead and develop Loud Rumor’s sales team, which consists of both inbound and outbound member success consultants. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience developing and growing a sales team.
What Winning Looks Like
- Ensure your team of sales consultants achieve quotas and exceeds goals
- Manage sales activity, forecast sales processes, and lead strategic planning for the department
- Identify new business opportunities with current and potential members
- Spearhead continued development for the sales consultants through training and constructive feedback
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads
- Review and optimize current sales processes and systems to ensure maximum efficiency
- Identify sales opportunities with our franchisor partners
- Monitor and provide input on the competitive landscape
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales consultants
- Manage budget to ensure ideal profitability
- Excellent communication in following up on all sales interactions
- Responsible for building trusting relationships through a virtual selling environment
- Responsible for reporting accurate daily numbers, metrics, and accurate note-taking in CRM
- Assisting Leadership with anything needed pertaining to the company and ongoing
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills Needed to Win
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of managing a sales team
- In 2 minutes or less, tell us about a time you failed as a Sales Leader - what happened? What was the result? What did you learn?
- Highly competitive entrepreneurial individual with a desire to tackle challenging opportunities
- Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals and quotas
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and managerial/leadership skills
- Ability to quickly learn new computer systems/softwares
- Ability to quickly build rapport with prospects
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with leads and co-workers
- Ability to perform consultative sales presentations
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Preferred Skills Needed to Win
- Experience using Hubspot, Asana, Google, Gong, and Apple technology is highly preferred
- Sales experience in the health and wellness industry preferred
30, 60, 90 Day Targets
In 30 days, you’ll feel fully trained and confident in Loud Rumor products, services, systems, and processes.
In 60 days, your team will be on pace to meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets.
In 90 days, you will be working to maximize the efficiency of the sales department, including systems, processes, training, and budgets.

Salary: Starting at $100,000 plus commission and bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm (AZ Time). Accommodations for other time zones will be available post new hire training
