The Sales Operations Specialist is a key role on the sales and marketing operations team that will support phData’s expanding sales organization. You will be responsible for Salesforce administration, data and reporting, designing and implementing sales processes, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities to improve sales productivity and efficiency. 

This is an exciting role that works with marketing, finance, leadership, account teams, and global delivery teams to ensure the sales team has the resources, tools, and support it needs to achieve sales goals. 

Salesforce Administration

  • Act as the primary contact and project manager on all Salesforce-related initiatives
  • Responsible for user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, hierarchy, and permissions
  • Implement system configuration changes, including (but not limited to): fields, page layouts, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • Partner with management, to identify process gaps, data quality issues, sales proficiency, and adoption issues
  • Ensure quality of data in Salesforce
  • Support the lead validation process
  • Monitor user adoption
  • Provide ongoing user training and create training materials

Sales Reporting & Analytics

  • Track long term sales data
  • Create compelling reports, dashboards, and leaderboards, creating visibility and transparency
  • Provide data-driven insights and operational recommendations to senior sales and marketing leadership
  • Drive accountability to key performance indicators across all levels of the sales and marketing organization
  • Identify customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and trends
  • Conduct complex analytics across sales and marketing, including; market segmentation, win-loss statistics, customer acquisition lifecycle, conversion rates, translating findings into operational recommendations

Sales Support

  • Assist sales and marketing leadership on sales-related initiatives
  • Provide support, training, and documentation on sales tools (e.g., Zoominfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Manage sales budgets and expense processes & compliance
  • Proactively develop and implement sales processes
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement and consistency
  • Support sales forecasting activities and planning
  • Manage essential communications between the other departments in the business to ensure that the Sales teams are equipped with up to date delivery, billing, and invoicing information

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience in a sales operations function
  • Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and solid understanding of sales operations
  • Proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role
  • Salesforce.com is second nature to you (SFDC admin certifications a plus)
  • Understand the processes that drive sales success
  • Big-picture thinker who is able to quickly understand overall business objectives and offer strategic guidance as well as specific, tactical insights
  • Pride yourself on earning trust and maintaining confidence with your colleagues
  • Effective and persuasive communicator who speaks directly to ensure common understanding and commitment
  • Supreme planning, organizing, scheduling and prioritizing skills

  • Strong analytical ability and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience of problem solving or identifying solutions
  • Experience in modeling out sales forecasting to goal
  • Must be agile, responsive, organized, detail-oriented and operationally focused

  • Ability to multitask
