We're on the lookout for an exceptional SAP Senior Developer and S/4 Champion to join our team at our headquarters in Holland, MI. In this position, you will be in a crucial technical role and be a driving force in our journey to migrate to SAP S/4 and beyond. This can be a fully remote position with periodic travel to our headquarters in Holland, MI. As a SAP Senior Developer and S/4 Champion you will:

Play a crucial role in leading our technical projects to SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Fiori, OData, and ABAP technologies. Your role will include collaborating with our business partners, business and technical architecture teams, and the PMO team to plan, coordinate, and execute successful technical projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging your expertise in Fiori, OData, and ABAP. Your role will include collaborating with functional consultants, architects, developers, and business stakeholders, as well as the PMO team to help them plan, coordinate, and execute successful deliveries of SAP solutions that meet business requirements. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop end-to-end technical projects from ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA, focusing on Fiori, OData, and ABAP technologies, ensuring meticulous planning, execution, and delivery within defined timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams, understanding business requirements, and translating them into effective technical strategies, particularly in Fiori, OData, and ABAP integration.
  • Develop and implement business solutions, technical methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, with a specialized emphasis on Fiori, OData v4, and ABAP integration.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to technical team members, ensuring effective teamwork and knowledge transfer, especially in Fiori, OData, and ABAP integration to help ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges during the project, focusing on seamless Fiori, OData, and ABAP integration, ensuring optimal user experience and system functionality post-implementation.
  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring a smooth technical project with minimal disruptions to business operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to provide regular updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or similar field. (In lieu of degree, 2 years of relevant work experience is needed for every year of education not complete)
  • SAP Senior Developer and S/4 Champion II: Minimum 10 years of related design, development and support experience in respective technology stack
  • SAP Senior Developer and S/4 Champion I: Minimum 8 years of related design, development and support experience in respective technology stack
  • Minimum 2+ years SAP S/4HANA experience
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language
  • Current and continuing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to support Eastern time zone and work on-site at our headquarters in Holland, MI for a minimum of one week per quarter.

  • SAP modules: SD, LE(WM), MM, PP, FI, SCM

Ideally you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Experience with SAP data migration and conversion
  • SAP module experience: SD, LE(WM), MM, PP, FI, SCM
  • Unit testing proficiency 
  • Ability to quickly learn/understand a new technology quickly (short time to proficiency)
  • Passion for Technology 
  • Ability to support international time zones
