Job Description
We’re looking for a Security Architect to join the Secure Platform team at Trustonic. Based in the UK or France you will work as part of the Architecture team, and also work closely with the Engineering teams, to blend your architectural and security expertise to support the continued development of our Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), and the services and solutions built on top of it.
A bit about the team and what you'll deliver...
As a Security Architect, reporting to the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, you will:
- Produce designs to ensure the product evolves both functionally and securely.
- Lead security reviews and provide assess the product’s design and implementation.
- Participate in requirements clarification and code review, with focus on security critical areas.
- Assist with documents and preparation for certification (Common Criteria, ASPICE, ISO 21434 etc.).
- Represent the Secure Platform division as the Information Security Officer for ISO27001 purposes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed, including secure by design, choice of tools, security testing strategy, etc.
- Aid with security incident handling (review, analysis, response).

What makes you, you...
Experience
- Background in embedded software technology with experience with Embedded Linux, Android frameworks, QNX, Automotive Linux, AutoSAR an advantage.
- Proficiency of low-level programming languages such as C is a must; Rust would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ARM security features would be an advantage.
- Security architecture experience essential including device security applications such as DRMs, mobile payment etc.
- Experience with 3rd party code evaluations, ASPICE and/or ISO processes and certifications an advantage.
- Experience deriving and validating clear engineering requirements from customer requirements and creating supporting architecture.

- An analytical mindset, able to approach a problem and devise a systematic way of solving it.
- A problem-solver, often thinking of unique ways of working to improve everyday tasks.
- Strong team player able to work with cross-functional and distributed teams, able to lead where necessary.
- Ability to communicate ideas to a technical and non-technical audience, and willingness to adjust plans based on emerging requirements or constraints.
Languages
- Fluency in English is required as it is the business language in the Company.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
