ABOUT THE TEAM
Bestow’s finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organization, from managing and optimizing the company's financial resources to enabling effective decision-making and sustainable growth. Finance comprises various teams, including accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning, providing financial insights and support to facilitate all operations.
We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join the team!
This role will report directly to our Corporate Controller.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Assist in preparation, review and analysis of financial reporting, including GAAP and Statutory financial statements, cash flows, and estimates.
- Compile, analyze and report on expenses including inter-company expense allocations.
- Create and support tax work-papers and work with external tax consultant.
- Maintain proper support for company leases and record accounting entries.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliation and assist in monitoring internal controls around financial activities.
- Work with external auditors while performing interim and year-end workpaper and financial statement review.
- Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through supported account reconciliations.
- Create and file timely compliance reporting for regulated companies.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant work experience
- You are proficient with Google Apps, Zoom, and online chat/communication tools as well as Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to interpret GAAP accounting guidance and apply to Bestow’s financial process.
- Highly organized and you pay close attention to detail.
- Deadline oriented and analytical thought process.
- Ability to manage data to produced journal entries or perform financial analytics.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities under one parent company.
$92,000 - $100,000 a year
Starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
