Who we’re looking for
The Senior Accountant will be a pivotal member of the accounting team, reporting directly to the VP of Accounting. This role involves overseeing month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Additionally, you will assist with revenue reconciliation for ParentSquare partnership programs, manage Netsuite and its integrations with Maxio, and support annual, quarterly, and monthly tax filings. Your expertise in technical accounting research will be crucial in collaborating with the VP of Accounting on new accounting standards and enhancing close processes and policies.
This role will include:
- Prepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and perform variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage Netsuite and oversee its integration with Maxio, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency
- Support the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly tax filings, working closely with external tax advisors
- Assist with revenue reconciliation for ParentSquare partnership programs
- Conduct research on technical accounting issues, stay updated on new standards (GAAP), and collaborate on their adoption with the VP of Accounting
- Assist in refining month-end close processes, accounting policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred, with public accounting experience highly valued.
- Proficiency in Excel/SQL; comfortable working with large datasets.
- Experienced self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Startup experience and/or familiarity with Netsuite and Maxio.

The salary range for this role will be $95,000 to $ 140,000, DOE.
