The role

Responsibilities:
- Act as an essential contributor to the development of accounting systems and process design for the HFT firm.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and regulations, including tax compliance.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide ad hoc audit support as needed.
- Take charge of maintaining our books of account under IFRS, including participating in month-end close activities such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and analyses.
- Act as the go-to person within the company for financial and accounting inquiries, as well as queries from regulatory authorities.
- Develop and keep our finance policies and procedures up to date.
Hard skills requirements:
- Qualified with recognised accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- Background in accounting for financial services, fintech, banking, or an exchange, with experience in a high-
- performance environment.
- Expertise in IFRS and familiarity with accounting month-end book close processes.
- Project management experience.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions including macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and SUMIF.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft suites.
