Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial information, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports. The Senior Accountant will report to the Director, Accounting Operations. The Senior Accountant will work closely with other functions including International Accounting, FP&A, HR, etc.
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP and maintain complete and accurate documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and roll forward schedules (debt, equity, accrual accounts)
- Complete monthly flux analysis for PL and BS
- Prepare the weekly cash forecast for the CFO.
- Complete assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statement close activities accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and processes
- Support the year-end audit by compiling and preparing supporting schedules and financial reports.
- Continuously improve accounting processes to ensure quality, efficiencies and transparency
- Complete a variety of ad hoc reports and analytics for the Controller, Directors, and Managers
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience or 4 years of relevant accounting experience with CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership experience, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and remote work environment.
- SaaS or technology company environment preferred.
- Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred.
